Logan Hone

Biography:

Logan Hone is a multi-instrumentalist musician celebrated for his exuberant saxophone and flute performances, magnetic stage presence, and infectious dance moves that spark joyous ruckus wherever he goes.

An ex-Mormon raised in a musical family, Logan’s mission now is "to use music as a tool for positivity and joy". Pitchfork described his style as having "a palpable exuberance," while KFJC noted his music evokes "the joy of living in general."

Logan’s deep musicality and versatility have led to collaborations with a heaven's host of one-of-a-kind artists, including John Carroll Kirby, Fievel Is Glauque, Eddie Chacon, and even actor-musician John C. Reilly.

His many original projects include the 2020 "instant-classic" album Feel-Good Instrumental Music!, the avant-rollercoaster-jazz-n-roll of Similar Fashion’s 2018 release Portrait Of (produced by Deerhoof’s John Dieterich), and his role as the director of an all-ages, all-skill-levels Community Band at Art in the Park in Los Angeles since 2018.

Logan has lived in nearly equal thirds: Sacramento, Utah, & Los Angeles.
